Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation practice offering physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. Gayle Bohlman will offer a 3 week intorduction to iRest Yoga Nidra practice on Monday January 7th, 14th and 28th. iRest Yoga Nidra begins as a guided meditation practice with a body-centered focus, and moves through levels of awareness. Benefits of the practice include restoration of the nervous system, release of emotions and thought patterns, attuning to observing awareness, and the development of resilence. Research has demonstrated benefit from this practice for veterans, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
